NYS Title question.

I registered my 924 back in mid-march, and when I check the title status (I still haven't received it), the NY title website status thing says :

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

It has been much more than the 6-8 weeks that they quote. What do I do to get my title?

When I request a certificate of title this is the message I get:

" This is a non-titled vehicle, or your original title was never issued. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ."

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I asked him but he largely ignores all of my questions about this. He only talks to me when he needs help with his 944.

Yes, but this appears to have fallen into the DMV realm of "bad shit".

It took me 9 months to get a title for a first gen Camaro I bought.

I had the guy sign a bill of sale, he signed the title in the right place (as did I), and then all of the relevant DMV documents that I filled out. That's pretty much it. I mean I know everything worked out because the DMV gave me plates and a registration...

Bill of sale is of little use.

You are an NJ resident, right? So you took the NY state title, signed by both you and him, to the NJ state DMV, filled out the paperwork, got plates and a reg but no title?
